Dale H. Kerns, age 62 of Mankato, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at his home with his family by his side.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato.

Dale was born on June 22, 1951 to Harold and Roberta (Strand) Kerns in Waseca. On July 8, 1972, Dale was united in marriage to Barbara Berentson at Bethel Baptist Church in Mankato. He worked for CHS for nearly 30 years. Dale was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing.

Dale is survived by his wife, Barb; 3 daughters, Andrea (Korey) Wink, Candi (Darrin) Braam, and Amanda Kerns; grandchildren, Kiley, Allison, Evan, Braydon, and Nyah; sisters, Pamela (William) Frasher, and Lisa Kerns and her special friend; brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law; brother-in-law, Tom Berentson, who died a day before him; and uncle and brother-in-law, George Kerns.
