Barbara Jean Fink
Barbara Fink, age 74, of Mankato, Minnesota died Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
Barbara Jean was born on April 2, 1949 in Adrian, Minnesota, the third eldest of ten children to Leo and Gertrude Seitz. Barbara graduated from Ellsworth High School. She was baptized and raised in the Catholic faith and loved attending Mass.On May 1, 1976, Barbara was united in marriage to John Fink. They would have celebrated their 48th anniversary this year. They resided in Mankato all their married life.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, John Fink of Mankato; seven siblings Mary Ilgen of Hopkins, Minnesota, Fabian Seitz of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Patricia (Ken) Stubbe of Shakopee, Minnesota, Maggie (Bryce) Goembel of Luverne, Minnesota, James Seitz of Northfield, Minnesota, Sue (Steve Gutnik) Thies of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Laurie (Tim) Block of Johns Island, South Carolina; many nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bill Seitz and Tom Seitz, and two infant nieces Tara and Ashley.
