Barbara Kay Weiler

Barbara Kay Weiler, age 83, of North Mankato, died Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Vista Prairie at North Pointe in North Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Mankato with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to BENCHS. Condolences can be sent to the family at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato.

Barbara was born January 9, 1942 to Harry and Gail (Glaser) Palmer in Mankato, MN. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 1960. Barbara was united in marriage to Roger G. Weiler on April 27, 1963 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato. She was employed by Palmer Tennis Ware in Greenville, NC for 10 years. Barbara and Roger returned to Mankato, where she was a Manager at Walmart for 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and Card Club. Barbara was an avid dog lover that enjoyed sewing, crocheting, upholstery projects, and spending time at the lake with her family. She will always be remembered as an adoring mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother.

Barbara is survived by her four sons, Jeff (Kathy) Weiler of Coon Rapids, Todd (Tia) Weiler of Denver, CO, Chad (Laurie) Weiler of Eagle Lake, and Jamie (Angula) Weiler of North Mankato; nine grandchildren, Lydia (Phil) Troy, Heidi (Sam) Batistich, Trey Weiler, Tessa Weiler, Abby Weiler, Kaylee Weiler, Desire (Chris) Kielty, Zacheri (Hannah) Halla, Kendall (Addyson) Halla ; great-grandchildren, Iona Troy, Paisley Weiler, Penelope Weiler, Townes Troy, Penny Troy, Hudson Halla, and Athena Halla; sister, Lavonne Staley; nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger Weiler.
