Betty Jo Henrichs, 57, of Mankato, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in her home as a result of an unfortunate accident.
Betty Jo was born January 25, 1965, in Springfield, MN to Jerome and Judith (Jensen) Henrichs. Betty Jo attended school in Sanborn and Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
Betty Jo was an amazing and beautiful person; she always knew how to brighten up a person’s day. She always tried to help those who were going through rough waters. She was willing to give everything to someone in need, even if it meant her own needs weren’t met. Due to love that Betty showed others, she was known as “Ma” or “Mom” to dozens of people. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her friends and grandkids. She really enjoyed coloring and reading Dean Koonz novels. She spent many years working in the customer service industry. She delivered smiles to both her co-workers and customers. Betty has touched the hearts of many people and although she is gone, her love remains.
She was survived by five of her children, Bobby Sue (Anthony) McDermott, Jamison Sander, Rainbow (Michael) Mata, Jessica Henrichs, and Jessica Naylor; grandchildren, Jacob Ladd, Kelsey Ladd, Jonathon Ladd, Jadon Clement, Aurora B., Jordan Folsom, Anthony Glennen, Hazel Glennen, Arian Mata, Malia Mata, and Xzavier Mata; sister, Tina (Mike) Brown; brother, Russel (Sandy) Henrichs; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Betty Jo was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Henrichs; father, Jerome Henrichs; son, Jonathon Ladd; and grandchildren, Gabriel Clement and McKaila Ladd.
