Beverly "Bev" Jean Haring

Beverly “Bev” Jean Haring, age 76, of North Mankato passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., on Monday, September 11, 2023, at St. John Lutheran Church, Good Thunder. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Good Thunder.

Beverly was born in Mankato, MN on July 5, 1947, to Earl and Elvera (Schwantes) Doss. She was the youngest of three children. Beverly grew up on a farm in rural Good Thunder, and attended St. John Lutheran School, Good Thunder.

On July 14, 1973, Beverly married Larry Haring. They made their home in Mankato and then later in North Mankato. Beverly was dedicated and hard working. She owned her own daycare, and later worked at Mankato House Health Care Center. In 1994, Beverly started working at Immanuel-St. Joseph’s Hospital, and then retired in June of 2012.

Beverly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She always had an activity, trip to the library or a trip to the park planned. Beverly also enjoyed entertaining, whether it was a meal or a Pfeffer card party she enjoyed bringing people together. She had a great joy for spending time outdoors, walking the dog, camping, and fishing. Beverly’s infectious laugh, and smile always brightened every room she entered, and made everyone feel welcome.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Larry; children, Russell (Ellen) Brunz, and Shawna (Joel) Mueller; stepdaughter, Heather (Brian) Douglas; beloved grandchildren, Nick, Becca, and Jack Mueller, and Bryant Brunz; step-grandchildren, Tom (KayCee) Mead, Kristin (Matt) Klun, Blake Douglas; step-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Jessica Klun; brother-in-law, Larry Fritz, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Beverly is welcomed into heaven by her parents, Earl and Elvera Doss; brother, Marlyn Doss, and sister, Neva Fritz.

The family would like to thank Oak Terrace Assisted Living, and Mayo Hospice for their wonderful care.
