Bradley Paul Barnard

Bradley Paul Barnard, age 39 of Mankato passed away unexpectedly at his home, November 29, 2021.

Private service will be held. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., Monday December 6, 2021 at Northview North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at Barnard Valley View Cemetery in Good Thunder.

Bradley was born in Mankato, MN on January 24, 1982, in a blizzard, to Paul and Rhonda Barnard. He grew up on a farm near Good Thunder. He attended St. John’s Parochial school through the 8^th grade and then graduated from Maple River High School in 2000. Brad went on to graduate from Minnesota State University with a marketing degree. Brad has always had a strong work ethic from a young age and has been dedicated to each of his jobs, including his current position as a Communications Officer at MSU since 2013.

Brad had many hobbies and interests. He loved traveling with friends, attending car shows, singing karaoke, drinking iced coffee and his routine gatherings at South Street Saloon, followed by his late-night cooking, sharing food with students on campus. Brad was a kind gentle man always there to lend an ear or helping hand. He lived out his faith in Jesus Christ by loving and caring for others. His grandparents played a big role in his life. He spent as much time as he could gleaning their wisdom and enjoyed driving them on long trips.

Most of all Brad loved spending time with his family. Brad has always filled the role of caretaker for his family.  He was a proud uncle to all his nieces and nephews whom he adored.

Brad is survived by his parents; Paul and Rhonda Barnard, his siblings; Aaron (Shaina) Barnard and their children Hadlie, Brooks, and Landen, Amanda (Adam) Stencel and their children Brody and Karson, Jacob (Carly Lloyd) Barnard and their children Jacklyn and William, grandparents; Ronald and Illa Jean Krengel, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brad is preceded in death by his grandparents; William and Eloise Barnard and aunt, Tammy Belkholm.
