Bradley Warren Hanson, age 73, passed away in the comfort of his home on April 10, 2026.
A native of Blue Earth, Minnesota, Brad was born to Vernon (Pete) and Dorothy (Dot) Hanson. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Navy in 1971, serving his country with great pride. Following his military service, he attended the University of Minnesota Waseca for Agriculture, leading to a dedicated 20-year career at Hubbard Feeds, from which he later retired.
On October 14, 1989, Brad married the love of his life, Patricia Karen Harpham. Together, they built a life filled with family and simple joys. Brad was an avid gardener and a talented craftsman; he spent countless hours in his shop building swings and birdhouses for those he loved. He was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, but his greatest joy was found closer to home—playing cards with friends and family or spending time with his grandchildren. Brad’s warmth and light touched everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon (Pete) Hanson and Dorothy (Dot) Dutton.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Stephanie Hanson, Kristen Hanson, Kris Harpham, and Stacey Harpham; his grandchildren, Brandon, Haley, Aiden, Ty, Logan, Peyton; and his siblings, Gary (Judy) Hanson and Dick (Dawn) Hanson
