Bradley E. "Bonger" Johnson

Bradley Eugene "Bonger" Johnson, age 70 of Vernon Center, died Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Truman Senior Living Center.

Public visitation will be 1:00-3:00pm Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Lake Crystal Mortuary. A private family service will be held. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date. To leave a condolence for family, visit www.mankatomortuary.com.

Brad was born March 14, 1953 to Arne and Ruth (Samuelson) Johnson in Mountain Lake, MN and was baptized at First Congregational Church in Comfrey. He graduated from Comfrey Public High School in 1971 and continued his education at Minnesota State, Mankato. After graduation, he was employed at Carlson Craft for many years. Brad enjoyed fishing and gardening, especially his tomatoes! He loved spending time with his family and friends, telling jokes and always had a warm hug.

Brad is survived by his best friend, Norma; son, Michael; daughter, Jessica; siblings: Beverly (Gary) Rambow, Brian (Julie), and Bruce (Gail); and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Madison "Maddie" Johnson.

The family wants to thank everyone for their prayers and the Truman Senior Living Center for the great care Brad was given over the last couple of years.
