Brandi Dee Reich Tosch (a.k.a. Dee), age 47, of Mankato, MN, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Brandi was born on December 20, 1974 in Mankato, MN to Dale and Wanda (Ristau) Reich.  Brandi was the youngest of three children, she had two brothers, Bryan and Brad.  Brandi graduated from St. Clair High School in 1993.  She attended South Central Technical College graduating with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Practical Nursing (LPN) in 1998 and began her career caring for people.  Brandi further pursued her degree in Registered Nursing (RN) with South Central Technical College while she worked and received that degree in 2005.  Brandi was married to James Tosch from 2007-2013. They continued to remain close and care for each other as they shared a life with their son.

Brandi worked as a nurse in a variety of health care facilities throughout her career, including caring for some of her favorite elderly patients in the clinic and nursing home settings.  Most recently she was employed with St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, MN as an RN.  Brandi’s hobbies and interests revolved around family and friends.  She was a 100% hockey and soccer mom and spent hours watching and cheering on Jakobe and his friends on the ice or the soccer fields.  She bled Mankato sports.  She enjoyed touring many local golf courses with Jakobe and loved to spend weekends or time off with close family and friends, including some fun get away vacations.  She loved her music and especially her beloved Jon Bon Jovi.  She was most proud of Jakobe and his accomplishments in the classroom, ice arena, and soccer field.  He was the light of her life.

Brandi was a caregiver through and through.  She always put others before herself.  She was kind, compassionate, and her contagious laugh touched each person she encountered.  Her eyes and enormous smile made people feel comfortable and loved.

Brandi is survived by her son, Jakobe and his father, James Tosch of Mankato; father, Dale (Lynn) Reich of St. Clair; father-in-law, Phil Adams of Mankato; brother, Bryan (Chris) Reich of Red Wing and their family, Jordan Winberg, Bryanna (Joe) Sandquist and their sons, Sam, Will, AJ, and George, and Emily Reich; brother, Brad (Colleen) Reich of Waconia and their family, Joshua, Caleb, and Kaden Reich; brother-in-law, Chuck (Wendy) Tosch of Mankato and their family, Tyler and Tori Tosch; sister-in-law, Lori Tosch of Mankato; and a host of cousins; in-laws; and special friends.
