Cherie Ann Hill

Cherie Ann Hill, 78, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in Mapleton, with her home in Madison Lake.

Born on February 19, 1948, Cherie lived a life centered on care, compassion, and a deep love for animals. She worked as a homemaker and Licensed Practical Nurse, but her true passion was as a pet groomer, where she found joy in caring for and connecting with animals of all kinds. Cherie’s home was always filled with beloved pets, and she also took delight in collecting porcelain dolls, each one treasured.

Cherie is lovingly remembered by her sons, Chris Hill (Lisa Schultz) and Samuel Hill (Nicole Hill); her cherished grandchildren, MaKenna, Bryant, Cole, Jesse, and Jake Hill; and her sisters, Dorothy Trimble and Patty Nichols. She leaves behind many beloved pets who were a special part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milo W. Hill and Lenore Brewer, as well as several brothers and sisters.

Cherie will be remembered for her feisty spirit, her nurturing nature, and the love she gave so freely to both people and animals.

In honor of Cherie, memorials are preferred to Ecumen Hospice.
