Cheryl Turbes Pfeffer

Cheryl Ann (Turbes) Pfeffer was born on February 11, 1949, in Mankato, Minnesota, to Jerome and Arlene (Telshaw) Turbes. The oldest of five siblings, Cheryl was a brownie scout and a member of 4-H. Cheryl graduated from Bradford High School of Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 1967. From the early 1970s until her retirement in 2016, she worked for the Mankato Citizens Telephone Company. Cheryl earned a BS from Mankato State University in 1990. She was proud of her two sons and volunteered as a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She was an avid reader who loved daily prayer.

Cheryl died on July 19, 2022, and was preceded in death by her parents, her son Aaron, and her brother-in-law Robert Dinesen. Cheryl is survived by her son Christopher Pfeffer (Daphne); siblings: Linda Dinesen, Vickie Johnson (Jack), Nancy Tischer (Danny), Ronald Turbes; grandson: Aaron's stepson, Bailey LaPatka; daughter-in-law: Jennifer Roberts; and many cousins, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

We will miss her sassy attitude, jocularity, and boundless kindness.
