Christine Domras

Christine Elizabeth (Tischer) Domras, 58, of St. Peter, died March 23, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Healthcare System in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr. in North Mankato. Visitation will take place from 4-7 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2023 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Kasota Hill Cemetery. Christine was born April 22, 1964 to Wayne and Vivian (Rolstad) Tischer in Mankato. She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1982 and continued her education at Mankato Vo Tech for baking. On July 26, 1997, she married Ronald “Roundy” Domras. Roundy died in 2009. In 2011, Christine met her significant other, Mark Wenner who she remained with until her death.

Christine had a passion for children. She worked over 25 years as a Para at Le Sueur Henderson Elementary School. In her free time, she enjoyed feeding hummingbirds, cruises in Mark’s corvette, flower gardening, rides to eastern Minnesota with Mark, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Christine is survived by her significant other, Mark Wenner; parents, Wayne and Vivian Tischer; siblings, Dan (Jolene) Tischer, Todd (Jodi) Tischer, Scott Tischer, and Heidi (Jim) Schabert; brother-in-law, Bill (Vicky) Domras; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Roundy” Domras.

Per the request of Christine, she would like everyone to wear colorful clothes at her service.
