Connie Catherine Pohl

Connie Catherine Pohl, age 95, of Mankato passed away at the Pillars on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Livestream will be available at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Connie was born on October 21, 1930 in Mankato to Clarence and Marjorie Rivers. She graduated from Loyola in 1948. On October 21, 1977 Connie was united in marriage to Dwayne Pohl.

Connie worked for Kayot Company, Mankato Corp., and then retired from Carlson Craft. She was a founding member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, and a longtime member of the Mankato Eagle’s club.

Connie enjoyed camping, gardening, playing bingo, reading, tending her to flower gardens, and spending time traveling to Mexico and California. She enjoyed watching the Twins and Vikings.

Connie is survived by her children, Mike Dewar (Mary Ann Rocha) of Mankato and Glen (Chris) Dewar of Mankato; step-sons, Randy (Renee) Pohl of Waconia, and Dale (Cindy) Pohl of Woodbury; 14 grandchildren; as well as many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Marjorie Rivers; husband, Dwayne Pohl; daughter, Roxanne Dobie; 5 siblings; son-in-law, Steve Dobie, and 2 great-grandsons.
