Daniel Telshaw

Daniel Telshaw, age 66, of North Mankato, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his home.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, North Mankato. Interment will be at Tivoli Cemetery, rural Mankato. The service will be livestreamed and available on Dan’s obituary page at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato with the Rosary at 6:45 p.m. and visitation will continue on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service.

Dan, the son of Clarence Sr. and Laurice (Strickland) Telshaw, was born on August 17, 1955 in Mankato. He went to Mankato West High School. He was previously employed at Penny’s Supermarket and Mankato Business Products and was a long-time employee at C&N Sales. Dan managed dart and pool leagues in Southern MN and Northern IA and developed a youth pool league. Dan ran pool and dart tournaments in Las Vegas and made a lot of friends along the way. He enjoyed playing softball, football, and golf. Dan loved to relax at the North Shore of Lake Superior.

He is survived by his siblings, Sonny (Diane) Telshaw of North Mankato, Julianne (Rick) Gruber of Mankato, and Debbie Wilson of Alexandria; 12 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; 7 great great nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother during childbirth; niece; nephew; and great nephew.

Memorial gifts are preferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or donor’s choice.
