Darlene "Dot" R. Hippe-Wenner

Darlene “Dot” R. Hippe-Wenner, age 79, of Nicollet, died Monday, May 31, 2021 at MCHS – Mankato. She had battled cancer for the last 10 years, with pneumonia and covid getting the best of her.

A Celebration of Dot’s Life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before service. Mankato Mortuary assisted with arrangements.

Darlene was born November 29, 1941 to William and Irma (Franz) Hippe in Rib Lake, Wisconsin. Dot owned and operated “Dot’s Alterations and Tailoring” for over 30 years.

Dot is survived by her husband, Wendell Wenner, Jr., daughter, Anna (Wayne) Folkert; son, JJ Krenzke, Jr.; step-daughter, Wendy (Mike) Woessner; four grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Melissa, and Garrett; three great-grandchildren, Kip, Luke, and Presley; five siblings, Shirley McGrath, Joan Ryan, Gene (Julie) Hippe, Jerry (Sheryl) Hippe, and Cindy (Greg) Collins; and extended family. Dot was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick; brother, Jimmy.
