Deborah Ann Bulawski

Deborah Ann Bulawski, 65, of Mankato, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Health System – St. Marys Campus in Rochester.

Debbie was born August 18, 1956 in Albert Lea, MN to Dennis and LaVonne (Kroch) Swearingen. She graduated from Kiester High School and later Mankato Cosmetology School. On October 28, 1978, Deborah was united in marriage to Claire Bulawski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Together, they raised two sons, Stephan and Lucas. Deb worked as a printer at Carlson Craft for over 30 years before retiring in August 2020. Deb loved flower gardening and was the world’s best crazy cat lady.

Deborah is survived by her sons, Stephan (Carla Bode) Bulawski and Lucas (Melissa Massa) Bulawski; grandson, Chayton Mulder; mother, LaVonne Swearingen; and brother, Brian Swearingen and his son, Riley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis; and husband, Claire Bulawski.
