Delores L. Fast

Delores L. Fast, age 92 of Mankato, passed Monday, May 15, 2023 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living, North Mankato.

Delores Louise was born November 29, 1930 in Windom, MN to Fred Carl, Jr. and Louise Bertha (Dally) Soleta. She attended and is a 1948 graduate of Windom High School. She then worked for the Windom Telephone Company as an operator. On June 21, 1955 she married Harry Fast in Windom. They moved to Mankato in 1968 and together operated the family business, Fast Auto Parts, until 1989. She then worked as an associate at Walmart for over 28 years, before finally retiring. Delores was a member of the Red Hat Society, and enjoyed gardening, crafts, baking, doing word puzzles, playing cards and spending time with family. 

Left to remember Delores are her husband, Harry; children: Sherri (David) Farrell, and Randy (Terri); grandchildren Brandon (Samantha) Elsner, Courtney (Jonah) Elsner, Gabby (Nick) Farrell, Hayley (Scott) Hornberg, and Trent (Allison) Fast; great-grandchildren: Cecilia and August Hornberg; sister: Bernetta Maras; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
