Diana Kay Thobe

Diana Thobe, age 62, of Mankato, died on Friday, December 9, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. 

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Northview.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato.

Diana was born on July 20, 1960 in Madelia to Donald and Mary (Schultz) Thobe.  She graduated from St. James High School and then moved to Mankato.  Diana worked at MRCI for many years.  Diana had a love for small animals, especially cats.  She enjoyed collecting cat figurines.  She loved donating to various animal shelters. Diana loved babies, watching western movies, going out shopping, and banana chocolate mint blizzards from Dairy Queen.      

Diana is survived by her uncle, Donald Schultz; cousins, Sue (Randy) Kruse, Mike (Patty) Schultz, and Steve (Michelle) Schultz; and her roommates from her group home.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Dale and Alan.
