Donald “Don” D. Shoults, age 87 of Mankato died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Autumn Grace in Mankato.

Celebration of Life service will be held later.

Donald D. Shoults was born May 10, 1933 to Raymond and Doris (Martin) Shoults in Detroit, Michigan. He served his country in the US Marine Corp. from 1950 till 1954 with the rank of Sgt. Don graduated from Western Michigan University. He was united in marriage to Dolores Krueger on September 17, 1955 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Don began a 34-year career with KEYC Television and retired on July 1, 2002.

Don was a member and past Commander of VFW Post 950, American Legion Post 11, past board member of Mankato Area Chamber of Commerce, and YMCA. Don was a member, past President, District Governor and past International Director of Mankato Sertoma Club. Don was a member of the Mankato Golf Club and was an avid golfer.

Don is survived by his wife Dolores; three daughters, Sheryl Smith, Kathy Ladd and Sandra Lawson; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother Ray (Helen) Shoults.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth.
