Playing in the then woods on West 7th, the vacant lot at the corner of West 7th and Blue Earth, venturing to the railroad trestle or the big rock by Mankato High, ice skating at the slough rink . . . such great childhood memories.

Retirement saw Dorothy and Al canoeing, and participating in area Rendezvous where Dorothy excelled at tomahawk throwing.
