MAPLETON - Pastor Earl Peterson, 99, of Mapleton, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Mapleton Community Home. A funeral service will be held at CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH, Rapidan, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, with a visitation one hour before. Burial with military honors will be at First Lutheran Cemetery in Battle Lake, Minn., at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. A memorial hymn sing will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Mapleton Community Home chapel - please enter the building through the 3rd Avenue SW entrance.
