Earl and Shirley also loved being Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for many years at the Vernon Center Christmas Celebrations that were held. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Earl is survived by his five children, Randy (Bonnie) Reid, Roxanne (Peter) Skalicky, Wanda Reid (Jim Weiler), Bruce (Brenda) Reid, and Brian (Linda) Reid; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; two sisters; one brother; and his parents.
