Edward M. Miller

Edward M. Miller, age 83, of rural Elysian, died March 8, 2024.

A Private Family Service will be held.  Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Edward was the 2^nd of fourteen children born on July 20, 1940, to Leonard A. and Lucille M. (Muellerleile) Miller in North Mankato.  He was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving as Military Police from 1963-65.  Edward married Sandra E. Monson. Edward worked as a Millwright during his life before retiring. Edward was a member of the Elysian American Legion, Silver Lake Sportsman Club, and German-Jefferson Sportsman Club.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cribbage, and playing horse shoes.

Edward is survived by his two sons, Michael (Shannaon) Miller of Northfield and Daniel (Elke) Miller of Kansas City, MO; two step-daughters, Brenda (John) Baker of Red Wing and Debra Stoering of Goodhue; fourteen grandchildren; eleven siblings; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandy; and two siblings.
