Elaine F. Olson

Elaine F. Olson, age 88, of Mankato, died on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Elaine Fern, the daughter of Clarence and Adeline (Bublitz) Kroneman, was born on November 27, 1933 in Mason City, IA. Elaine was united in marriage to Reginald “Reggie” Olson in Mason City, IA. Together they raised four daughters. Elaine worked as a Hostess at McDonalds. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Mankato. Elaine loved country music, Hallmark movies, playing the piano, sewing, and was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Branson, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Brian) Hennis, Karen (Tom) Baker, Donna (Jeff) Burgess, and LeAnn (Dennis) Werner; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reggie; grandson, Jeremy Hennis; and 4 brothers.
