Eugene Archie Cole

Eugene (Gene) Archie Cole, age 91, of North Mankato, MN, went to heaven on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Celebration of Life will be on October 23, 2021 at 12:00p.m. at the Cole homestead. Stories and prayers at 1:00p.m. Interment will be at Kern’s Oak Grove Cemetery in Belgrade Township at a later date.

Eugene Archie, the son of Archie and Clara (Enz) Cole, was born on April 5, 1930 in Mankato. He served in the Army and was a member of the Nicollet American Legion for over 60 years. He retired from Honeymead in the 90’s. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed many get-togethers with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Leora (Sell) Cole; children, Diane (Duane) Severtson, Rhonda (Richard) Hollerich, Sherry Cole, Marshall (Jackie) Cole, and Michele (Larry) Cole. He has 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Preis.
