Gary Lee Mutch

Gary Lee Mutch, age 67 of North Mankato, passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Gary was born June 13, 1958 in Mankato to Ronald William and Eunice Marie (Westlund) Mutch. After high school, he became a welder, working for Kato Engineering, Pappe Dist., Mount Kato and later he worked for Menards. Gary was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Wichmann on April 26, 2010 in St. Peter. Gary lived his life to the fullest, enjoying all types of activities including: scuba diving, bike racing, traveling on the motorcycle and hunting. He was a lifetime member of the Kato Cycle Club.

Left to remember Gary are his wife, Barbara; sister Cindy (Dave) Hokeness; brother Scott Mutch; step-sons: Mark (Lori) Butler, and Chris Schlicht; five grandchildren: Isabell, Patrick, Preston, Alyssa, and Ashtyn; and nephews: Brian and Brent Hokeness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Merle.
