Gerald Phillips

Gerald H. Phillips, 79, of St. Clair died Monday, September 26, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester. Services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 20th, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 19th, at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to service at church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Legion or to an organization of the donor’s choice. Gerald was born August 14, 1943 to Cletus and Ruth Phillips in Blue Earth County. He was a member of the church and Commander of the St. Clair American Legion Post #475. Gerald and his personal friend, Judy, enjoyed traveling and many activities. Gerald was a proud, hard-working and generous man who loved fishing, bowling and leading St. Clair community events. Mr. Phillips is survived by daughter, Tricia Schneider of Overland Park, Kansas; two sons, Michael Phillips and Paul (Beth) Phillips all of Mankato; several grandchildren; siblings, Barbara (Jerry) Moore of LaPine, Oregon, Fred (Barbara) Phillips of Austin, Kevin Phillips of Mankato; many nieces and nephews.
