Gladys L. (Attenberger) Weber Drake, 95, of rural St. Peter, died August 11, 2021 at Ecumen Prairie Hill in St. Peter.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Belgrade United Methodist Church in North Mankato. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N Riverfront Dr., in Mankato and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in St. Peter.

Gladys was born March 11, 1926 to Oscar and Agnes (Zabel) Attenberger. She married Clarence R. Weber on June 6, 1944. They farmed west of St. Peter. Together, they raised six children on the farm. Clarence passed away on October 21, 1984.

Gladys married John Drake September 8, 1990. He died April 11, 2003. Gladys remained on the farm until April 12, 2021 until health problems took her to Ecumen Prairie Hill in St. Peter.

In her free time, Gladys enjoyed gardening, flowers, and taking care of her home. She was also the niece to Millie (Zabel) Kremer who owned the historic Kremer House in Minnesota Lake.

Gladys is survived by her sons, Steven Weber and Bradley Weber; daughters, Darlene (John) Montgomery, Shirley (Barry) Braun, Betty Doty, and Patricia (Fiancé, Rod Rettig) Cluka; 27 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; brother, Donald (Deb) Attenberger; sister, Ileen Kreutzer; sister-in-law, Eileen Attenberger; and many nieces and nephews.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Clarence and John; brothers, Marvin (Agnes) and Luverne; sister, Lila (Gilbert “Buster”) Wilmes; brother-in-law, Robert Kreutzer; nieces and nephews; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
