Harold Henry Linde age 89 of Mankato died Friday January 14, 2022.
Harold was born September 28, 1932 to Henry and Margaret (De Vlaeminck) Linde in rural Eagle Lake, Minnesota. He attended rural school. Harold served his Country in the US Army from 1953-1955. Harold was united in marriage to Gloria King on April 1, 1956 in St. Clair, MN. He spent most of his working life in the farm supply industry and retired from Equity Supply. In retirement he worked for Drummer’s.
He was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Mankato and a member of the Eagle Lake American Legion. Harold enjoyed bowling, fishing, and gardening with his green thumb.
Harold is survived by his wife, Gloria; two children, Jim (Katie) Linde of Minnetonka, Ann (Brent) Johnson of Wadena; six grandchildren, Andrew, Nate, Rachel, Kelley, Ryan, and Karon; five greatgrandchildren; sister, Darlene (David) Wilmes of North Mankato; sisters-in-law, Rosie Linde, and Judy Metzler both of Mankato; nieces and nephews; special friends, Warren and Kathy Krenz.
Preceded in death by his parents, son, Thomas, granddaughter, Kayla, two brothers, David and Herbert, and brother-in-law, Mike Metzler.
Recorded service will be available at www.mankatomortuary.com after 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022. Memorial service will be held in the spring of the year.
