Jeffrey Gaare

Jeffrey Warren Gaare, 56, of Mankato, passed away January 27, 2021 at his home.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2021 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jeff was born September 12, 1964 to Warren and Judy (Solmonson) Gaare in Gaylord, Minnesota. He graduated from Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1983. He attended South Central Technical College in Mankato and received a degree in computer programming. In 1985, Jeff started working for Computoservice now known as Northflow Solutions. In 1986, he married Sheryl Kuntz. Together they had two children, Molly and Kevin. They later divorced. On August 5, 2006, Jeff married Deb Curry.

Jeff was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed deer hunting, turkey hunting and archery, all with his wife, Deb. He also loved his dogs and especially had a soft spot for his grandchildren. Jeff will be remembered as a reserved man that was caring and generous to all, without needing public recognition of his generosity.

Jeff is survived by his wife and best friend, Deb; children, Molly and Kevin; step-children, Libby Christensen and Jesse (Brittni) Lamoreux; grandchildren, Addison, Chloe, Isabella, Hattie, Hazel, and Hadley; mother, Judy (Bob Pautsch) Gaare; sister, Leah Schrupp; nephew, Trevor Schrupp; and niece, Mariah Schrupp.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Gaare; and first dog, Kado.
