Jeffrey “Jeff” N. Jordan, age 54, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, in Mankato after a courageous battle with ALS.
Born on February 6, 1972, in Mankato to LeRoy and Anita (Gunderson) Jordan. In each stage of his journey, from childhood through adulthood, Jeff’s boundless love and gentle strength created a legacy that will not be forgotten.
Jeff’s devotion to family was the cornerstone of his life. He was a devoted husband to Anne (Nolan) Jordan, his partner and best friend, whose companionship brought him immeasurable joy and strength. They were united in marriage on September 17, 2005, at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church. Together they raised three children—Marshall, Brody and Bristol—each a testament to Jeff’s nurturing spirit, wisdom, and unwavering support. His family remembers a father who was always patient, endlessly encouraging, and ever proud of his children, delighting in their accomplishments and guiding them with love and kindness. You could always find them playing sports in the back yard, family game/movie nights, or going on trips. Jeff’s favorite place to visit was Ana Maria Island, FL.
Jeff was a Master Plumber and a true entrepreneur at heart. He began his 30-year career working alongside his dad at Jordan Plumbing and Heating, combining strong technical skill with a visionary drive for the future. Jeff and Anne were especially proud of the life and business they built together. Babe Plumbing, Heating & Air was more than just a company—it was something they created, grew, and operated side by side. Through years of hard work, sacrifice, determination, and countless long days, they established a business that became an essential part of their family’s story. Jeff took great pride in serving his community, caring for his customers and employees, and creating something truly his own. Babe Plumbing, Heating & Air will always represent one of his proudest achievements.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Jordan of North Mankato; children, Marshall, Brody, and Bristol Jordan of Mankato; parents, LeRoy and Anita Jordan of Backus; sister, Julie (Dennis) Genas of Fort Worth, TX and Melissa (Mapin) Chhoun of Fort Worth, TX; sisters and brother in law, Kate Nolan, Megan (Chris) Norman, Kyle Nolan, and Tricia (Shaun) Meling; parents in law, Peter and Mary Nolan; nieces and nephews, Kierah, Alexa, Olivia, Jackson, Justin, Jack, Vaughn, Ellen, Trevor, Nolan, Ben, Liam, Henry, Grayson, Emma, Georgia, Asher and several grand nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his infant son, Baby Bob; grandparents, Harley and Eleanor Jordan and Marge and Gordon Gunderson; and aunts, Gail Gunderson and Elizabeth Bennett.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church followed by a Celebration of Life from 3-6 p.m. at Spring Lake Park Shelter #2. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Thursday at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Jeff’s children, Marshall, Bristol, and Brody for their future endeavors.
