Jerry Depuydt

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Jerry Depuydt, who died unexpectedly on October 14, 2025, just days after his 73rd birthday.

Jerry had a gift for making friends everywhere with his gentle nature and kind soul, being born and raised on the farm he learned to fix anything and was a great mechanic, who loved antique tractors and classic cars and enjoyed going to car shows with his son and Pioneer Power days with his brother. He loved summer being outside and growing anything, but his greatest legacy in life was his love and devotion to his family and his ability to be there for others.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Denn Depuydt; his cherished son, Bradley Depuydt (Shyann); and beloved granddaughter, Hartlyn Rae; siblings, Donna Klinkner, Tom Depuydt, Deb Huhn (Dave), Marie Meyer (Mark), Dean Depuydt (Rachel), Kevin Depuydt (Gayle), Frank Depuydt; sisters-in-law, Teresa and Connie Depuydt; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lucille Depuydt; brothers, Roger, Leon, and Mark; brother-in-law, Steve Klinkner; niece, Barbara Depuydt; and nephew, Jeff Klinkner.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 30th from 4-7 p.m., at The Venue, 1850 Madison Avenue, Mankato, MN.
