Jill Ann Beerling

Jill Ann Beerling, age 70, of Mankato, passed away peacefully at home with her husband, Tom by her side after a long, and private battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary.

Jill was born to Arthur and Phyllis Rosin on April 5, 1953, in Mankato, MN. She attended Mankato High and graduated in 1971. Jill worked at the American Bank, Loyola Catholic School, and retired from Mankato East High School as the Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director. Jill enjoyed her career in the activities department, especially interacting with the students, coaches, and parents.

Jill felt her most important role in her life was the love and devotion she gave to her husband, children, and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed remodeling projects, and cooking and decorating with her grandchildren.

Jill is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tom; children, Andrew (Dorie) Beerling, Erin (Eric) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Tatum, and Elle Zimmerman, and JT, Lily, and Drew Beerling; parents, Arthur and Phyllis Rosin; siblings, Lori (Marty) Frederick, Joni McCluhan, Gary (Denise) Rosin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy (Ron) Thompson, Richard (Linda Danielson) Beerling, Cathy (James) Heavens; Nancy (Kevin) Keenan, John (Mary) Beerling, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jill was preceded in death by her mother and father in-law, Francis Beerling, and Marie Beerling; brother-in-law, Richard McCluhan; nephew, Kevin Paape; beloved dogs, Greta, and Gracie.
