Joan D. Struck

Joan Diane Struck, age 73, of Mankato, died Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 5, 2026, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, rural Le Center, MN. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Joan was born July 17, 1952, Wilmar V. and Lois M. (Burgess) Struck in St. Peter, Minnesota. She was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. Joan graduated from Wilson Campus School in 1970 and then attended Mankato Area Vocational Technical Institute.

Joan was employed by St. Peter Community Hospital, Minnesota Highway Department – Mankato, and for 36 years at Mankato State College, now Minnesota State University, Mankato in the admissions department before retiring. Joan had previously been active in the Jaycee Women. She enjoyed crocheting, calligraphy, and reading.

Joan is survived by her sister, Lu Ann Struck of Mankato and many cousins.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
