John Sydney St. Peter

John Sydney St. Peter, age 85, of Mankato passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Private burial will be held at a later date.

John was born to Earl and Ida (Zierwick) St. Peter on June 25, 1938, in Mankato, MN. He graduated from Loyola High School. After graduation, John owned and operated Brett’s Beauty Shop. John also worked for Taylor Corporation.

John enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and most of all spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Mary Kay (Maxfield) St. Peter; children, John (Cheryl), James (Heidi), Joseph, and Judy (Jay) Enevold; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Hanson, Andrew (Anna) St. Peter, Eric Enevold, Justin (Christine) Enevold, Jacob (Jess) Enevold, and Nathan (Mika) Enevold; great-grandchildren, Emma St. Peter, Olivia Enevold, and Maia, and Bennett Enevold, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob; sisters, Elaine and Joanne, and granddaughter, Jessica Mary St. Peter.
