Julie Ann Schoen

Julie Ann Schoen, age 68, of Mankato, died on December 8, 2023 at Pathstone Living. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  A rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. prior to the visitation.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be at Steele Center Cemetery in Owatonna.  Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. 

Julie was born on July 2, 1955 in Owatonna to Merville and Marjorie (Kasper) Kruckeberg.  She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1973.  On June 10, 1983, Julie was united in marriage to Tom Schoen.  Julie worked at Carlson Craft for over 30 years.  She was an active member at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Julie enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a great sister and a wonderful mother. 

Julie is survived by her son, Garrett (Crystal) Covey; stepson, Dana Schoen; siblings, Joyce Angerhofer, Sharon (Al) Vossen, Susan (Dennis) Moe, Denise Salisbury, and Douglas (Jeanette) Kruckeberg; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-niece; and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; and stepson, Tony Schoen. 

The family would like to thank Pathstone Living and Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato for the wonderful care they provided for Julie.
