Julie Ann Zoet, age 76, of Mankato, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Julie was born September 9, 1946, to Ole and Vivian (Elverson) Stalheim in Vermillion, SD.  Julie graduated from Ames High School in 1965 and furthered her education at Mankato State University with a degree in English Education.  Julie enjoyed property and home renovation with her family and later worked as a paraprofessional at East High School.  Julie loved  helping others  and volunteered with the Salvation Army, MRCI, and was a driver for VINE.  She valued education and was a member of a local book club.  Julie enjoyed playing flute, singing with the St. Peter Choral Society, word searches, sudoku, gardening, and landscaping.  Julie was incredibly generous towards helping others throughout her life.  She admired her parents and brothers and loved her children  and grandchildren.

Julie is survived by her three children, Amy (Mark) Cardamone-Rayner, Sonja Zoet, and Zachary Zoet, A.B.D.; Michael Wedemeyer; three grandchildren, Julian and Violet Bhardwaj, Claire Cardamone-Rayner; three brothers, Alan (Angela) Stalheim, David (Wendy) Stalheim, and Jon (Annie) Stalheim; former husband, Bob Zoet; nieces and nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents.
