Instructions for the procession from church to the cemetery, as written by Hayden Fox, Landon's brother:

"I'm organizing a truck procession in honor of my best friend, my brother, and a man who meant so much to so many.

There aren’t enough words to describe the kind of man he was. He was hardworking, dependable, and proud of the life he built. He showed up for people without hesitation and never asked for anything in return. If you knew him, you know how much trucks meant to him. They weren’t just a hobby they were part of who he was.

The lineup will begin on County Road 147 in Amboy, also known as Dodd Ford Bridge Road, and will continue as far as possible toward Pleasant View Cemetery. We kindly ask that everyone leave appropriate spacing along the bridge to ensure safety and allow for an organized and respectful tribute. If additional space is needed, trucks may also line up just past Ceasar Larson’s residence on 518th Avenue in Amboy and continue from there toward the cemetery.

We ask that all trucks be parked in place prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, March 4th, so they may be seen along the route as we make our way to the cemetery. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am and having the trucks lined up ahead of time will allow for a smooth and meaningful tribute as we pass by.

The support shown to our family during this time has meant more than words can express. We are deeply grateful for everyone who has stood beside us and helped us honor his life.

Seeing a long line of trucks in his honor will be a powerful reflection of the life he lived and the impact he had on so many. It will mean more than we can truly express to give him this final tribute.

Anyone who would like to participate is welcome. Don’t be afraid to spread the word. Bring your trucks and help us give him the sendoff he deserves.

Let those Jake brakes eat for him one last time."

Please note: If you arrive to the cemetery prior to the procession, please do not park in the cemetery or drive on the grass.

Reception: A reception will begin at 1:30pm at the Larson Family Farm (11343 518th Avenue, Amboy, MN 56010). We encourage you to come as you are and bring your favorite memories and stories of Landon to share. Celebrating his life together is one of the greatest gifts we can offer.

Landon's Life Story:

Landon Lucas Fox was born to Lucas and Karen Fox on December 4, 2004. From the very beginning, he was a child full of energy, a curious spirit with a love for the outdoors. As a young boy, Landon’s days were often spent fishing, swimming, hunting, playing ball, dirt biking, or working alongside his family on the farm. He developed a special bond with his father and mother, always eager to be by his dad’s side in the field or the shop, and enjoying the warmth of his mom’s kitchen.

As he grew, Landon’s determination and work ethic became more and more apparent. Whether he was working in the yard with his mom or helping out in the feedlot with his grandpa and dad, Landon was a worker at heart. He learned the ropes of farm life early on, gaining responsibility and experience that would shape his future. The long hours, early mornings, and hard work in raising cattle and crops taught him the value of perseverance, and by the time he was a young adult, Landon had become an essential part of his family’s farming operations.

In high school, Landon’s determination was reflected not only in his work but in his athletic pursuits. As a quarterback and kicker for the Maple River High School football team, he demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and commitment. Nothing got passed Landon as catcher on the baseball field and playing defense on the basketball court. Landon’s work ethic on the football field mirrored his dedication to the feedlot and farm—always going above and beyond. It was clear to all who knew him that Landon was someone who could accomplish the work of several men, all at once. After graduating from Maple River High School in 2023, Landon turned his focus toward his career in trucking. With grit and ambition, he founded Fox Haulers LLC, a company that specialized in hauling livestock across a wide region, from Minnesota to Montana. Landon’s business was a reflection of his tireless commitment and pride in his work. Through his hard work and dedication, he built a business that was not only successful but deeply meaningful to him.

Landon’s love for the outdoors never faded. He enjoyed snowmobiling, dirt biking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He valued these moments deeply and found joy in the time spent with those he loved. As a son, brother, and friend, Landon was steadfast in his support for his family. He was always there for his younger brother Hayden, and sisters Adriana, Brinnya, and Sloane, attending their activities and showing them just how much he cared. His loyalty and respect for others were at the core of his character, and he maintained close relationships with friends, family, and the community.

Landon’s life was one of hard work, skill, and love. In his short time with us, he left an enduring legacy that will be felt for generations. His family, friends, and all who knew him can take comfort in the example he set: a life marked by dedication, humility, and a quiet strength. Landon’s legacy is not only in the work he accomplished but in the lives he touched, the lessons he imparted, and the love he shared.

Landon is survived by his parents, Karen and Lucas Fox; his younger brother, Hayden; his three younger sisters, Adriana, Brinnya, and Sloane; his grandparents, Daniel and Janel Fox, Mary Megaw, and Rolland Behnke. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Megaw. He is also survived by a wide extended family, including his aunts, uncles, and cousins: Kristine (Tim) Sprung and children Dominic (Bailey), Calvin, and Kasey Katie (Kyle) Schreier and children Connor, James, and Maria Anna Fox and children Gabriel, Audrey, and Gaelen Jon (Brittany) Fox and children Henry and Robert

Rest in peace, Landon. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew you.

Casket bearers include: Hayden Fox, Will Trio, Jake Jones, Ethan Fischer, Braxton Simon, Landon Sohre, Dominic Sprung, Calvin Sprung, Connor Schreier, James Schreier, and Stewart Meyer
