Loree Olson

Loree “Ree” Ann Olson, 72, of North Mankato, died December 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Messiah Lutheran Church in North Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a late date. Livestreaming will be available at www.mankatomortuary.com. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family.

Loree was born November 27, 1949 to Averill N. McKean in Mankato. She graduated from high school in Minneapolis. On November 18, 1972, she married Dudley Olson in Mankato. Together, they raised two children, Dyane and Douglas. Loree owned and operated Ree’s Childcare for 43 years until her retirement.

Loree is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dudley; children, Dyane (Brian) Bjordal and Doug (Gillia) Olson; grandchildren, Morgan and Jared Bjordal and Lily Olson; and brother, Mike (Terri) Worner.

She was preceded in death by her mother and daughter in infancy, Nancy.
