Lorene I. Anderson

Lorene Anderson, Mankato, died Tuesday, July 21, 2021 at Rochester Mayo hospital following a battle with cancer.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 2pm to 5pm Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato. 

Lorene was born October 12, 1948 to Ivan and Wilda (Schlingloff) Michael in Mapleton, MN.  Lorene was a graduate of Mankato State University and went on to obtain additional education as a Para-Legal. She worked for Cargill in Mankato from many years and eventually pursued a career at the US Post Office where she worked for over 20 years until she retired.

Lorene is survived by her sons, Tony and Shawn Anderson; granddaughters, Macy and Miley Anderson; brother, Loren Michael; and many nephews, nieces and cousins, survive her.

Lorene is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Wilda Michael; sisters, Doris Adams and Lois Landsteiner.
