Madeline Ruth Hicks, age 88 of Winnebago, died Saturday November 7, 2020 at the Mapleton Community Home.

Due to Covid 19, visitation will be for immediate family only on Friday November 13, 2020. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Good Thunder.

Madeline was born February 20, 1932 to Glenn and Catherine (Mountain) Hicks in Mankato. Madeline helped her family at the family farm and later worked as a nurse’s aid in the area. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winnebago.

Madeline enjoyed embroidery, cards, games and family time.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Mona (Clair) Tripp of Illinois, Roberta (Steve) Fuqua of Mankato, Russ (Deb) Hicks of South Dakota, Rozanne (Bill) Goettl of St, Clair; many great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Francis (Florence) Hicks; sister, Elizabeth Hicks; nephew, Ronald Hicks.
