Marian was united in marriage to her neighbor and high school sweetheart, Richard Vosburgh, on June 30, 1945, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church while he was on leave from overseas duty. She was widowed in 1957 at the age of 31 with five children. She began a nurse’s aide career at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Private Duty, Mankato Clinic for 30 years, and Good Counsel’s Infirmary for 10 years. Marian so loved her family and did so much for them. She loved Sunday dinners, loved visiting their homes for celebrations, and always enjoyed babysitting. Marian lived a prayerful and faithful life. She enjoyed volunteering at church and Good Counsel. She loved music and dancing, embroidery, gardening, and bird watching. She traveled to Colorado, Alaska, Florida, California, Hawaii and a cruise of the Caribbean. The later years Marian lived at Keystone, then with her daughter, Pat, and the last three years at Birchwood Cottages.
