Marilyn Jean (Jorgenson) Hagge was born on August 8, 1952, in Westbrook, Minnesota, to Lyle and Marlys (Grams) Jorgenson. She graduated from East Mankato High School and later married Gary Hagge, sharing a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Marilyn dedicated her time to work and volunteer efforts at River Hills Mall, The Salvation Army, and Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she formed lasting friendships. She was a charter member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and actively participated in its choir.

She and Gary built a beautiful life together, enjoying caring for their lovely home, dancing, camping, and treasured time with family. Gary preceded her in death on April 3, 2011.

Marilyn found joy in word puzzles, crocheting, and watching her favorite movie, The Color Purple, often accompanied by a refreshing Mountain Dew. She approached each day with warmth, kindness, and genuine concern for others.

She is survived by her sister Nancy (Steve) Clarke, aunt Caryol Ementson, cousins Bob, Susan, Mark, Kathy, as well as numerous extended relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Hagge, parents Lyle and Marlys Jorgenson, and her brother Larry Jorgenson.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Marilyn’s caregivers for their compassion and thoughtfulness, Pastor Melanie Wallschlaeger for her guidance, and the staff at Laurels Peak and Precious Moments for their devoted care and kindness.
