Mary F. Berentson

Mary F. Berentson, age 92, died Friday, October 27, 2023.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Mankato Mortuary.

Mary was born March 25, 1931, to Refugio and Juana (Paredes) Caballero in Fort Worth, Texas.  Mary was united in marriage to Wilmer L. Berentson, on April 11, 1953.  Mary was employed by Tony Downs Foods.

Mary enjoyed sewing and crocheting, going for walks, shopping, spending time at family events, and doing whatever she could to help others out.

Mary is survived by four children, Richard Berentson of Cottage Grove, Martha (Jack) Thompson of Mankato, Charles (Teresa  Anderson) Berentson of Mankato and Michael (Sandra) Berentson of North Mankato; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and extended family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 daughters; and 3 granddaughters.
