Mary Elizabeth Schwartzbauer

Mary Elizabeth Schwartzbauer, age 63, of Mankato passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at her home surrounded by family after a year and a half battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Mary was born in Mankato on July 4, 1959, to Charles and Elaine Moore. She married her husband, Mike Schwartzbauer in Mankato on July 14, 1979, and together they had two daughters, Kristin and Heidi.

Mary enjoyed camping, gardening, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mike; daughters, Kristin (Mike) Malterer, and Heidi (Nate) Zender; grandchildren, Damon and Morgan Malterer, Hailey, Kaci and Mason Zender.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elaine Moore.
