Maxine Marie Schull, age 87 of St. Clair, died Monday, June 8, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2026 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in St. Clair, with Rev. Jeff Enderle officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Friday at the church. Memorials may be given to donor’s choice. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. The service will be livestreamed at www.mankatomortuary.com.
Maxine was born September 19, 1938 in Mankato to Otto & Gertrude Witt. She was a graduate of St. Clair High School and Mankato Commercial College. Maxine was united in marriage to Marvin Schull on June 16, 1959 in St. Clair. She worked alongside her husband at Marv’s Locker in Good Thunder and Hi-Way Meats in St. Clair. Due to her love of people, she also worked various other jobs in the St. Clair & Mankato area in the public relations sector along with assisting on the family farm.
Maxine was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in St. Clair. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, Sudoku, bird watching, fishing and spending time with family.
Maxine is survived by five children, Pam (Bob) Jagdfeld of Durango, CO, Dale (special friend Sharon Krupske) Schull of Hayward, WI, Tom Schull of Pemberton, MN, Patty (Steve) Fandrich of St. Clair, MN, and Dawn (Scott) Larsen of Mankato, MN; nine grandchildren, Michelle Cords (Brian Dell), Melissa Cords, Molly Schull (Kory Lutz), Dustin Schull, Chelsea (Tyler) Fischer, Tyler (Hannah) Fandrich, Megan Fandrich (Jared Blandford), Bradly (Kristin) Johnson, Julia Johnson; eight great-grandchildren, Amari & Jayda Nobles, Kennedy Schull, Nora & Ivy Fischer, Lainey & Tate Fandrich, Piper Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, her parents & brothers Willard Witt & Duane Proechel.
