Melvin "Mel" Lee Pettersen, age 89, longtime resident of Lake Crystal, died Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home.

Public visitation will be held from 12-2pm, Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Lake Crystal Mortuary with a private service to follow. Burial will take place at North Lincoln Cemetery in rural Lake Crystal.
