With a heavy heart, our family announces the passing of Mitchell “Mitch” Chase Allore, age 37, on January 26, 2026. His loss is felt deeply by all who knew and loved him. Mitch was born on June 10, 1988, to Eric and Kim Allore. He graduated from Mankato West High School and went on to receive an associate’s degree from Ridgewater College, followed by a bachelor’s degree from U of M - Crookston. At West, he participated in football, baseball, hockey and wrestling, and continued these into his college career. At Ridgewater, he played baseball and football and later transferred to U of M – Crookston, where he played baseball and then assisted in coaching the baseball team. His love of baseball ultimately led him to enjoy playing with the Mankato Twins baseball team. Mitch had a great love for the outdoors, which led him to share his passion of landscaping with his dad, Eric.
Mitch was larger than life and lived every day like he was walking into the championship game. His smile was infectious and lit up every room. He had a way of lifting people up, whether they were a friend he had known for years or a stranger he had just met for the first time.
He lived his life for Lindsey, his best friend and the love of his life, and for their three beautiful children. When it came to his kids, Mitch truly was “all-in”. You could always find him coaching their sporting events, cheering the loudest from the sidelines, and believing in his kids with his whole heart. He was so proud of them and he wanted nothing more than for them to know how deeply they were loved.
Mitch dedicated much of his time to helping others by serving on the board of directors for the Anthony Ford Foundation and the Pink and Blue Ribbon Foundation; both of these foundations held a special place in Mitch’s heart. He used his love of sports and business connections, specifically with Universal Sports Auctions, to continue to fundraise for various charities throughout Minnesota. Mitch enjoyed his community and had a knack for getting to know people with ease. He found a strong support system through his AGC Networking group and enjoyed promoting the great services that they provide for the community. Mitch also found spiritual connection and direction through his time spent with Pastor Brad at Crossview Covenant Church of North Mankato.
Mitch is survived by the love of his life, best friend and fiancé, Lindsey Rees; their beautiful children, Jayna, Maddux and Harrison, who were Mitch’s pride and joy; his parents, Eric and Kim Allore; his younger brother, Gus (Josh) Allore; father-in-Law, Craig (Melinda) Rees; sisters-in-law, Kerri (Josh) Mehrling and Breanna (Brad) Bundy; paternal grandparents, Bev (Ron) Dotzenrod; and his maternal grandmother, Helen Arnold. Mitch is preceded in death by his beloved son and guardian angel, Jett; mother-in-Law, Trisha Rees; and his paternal grandparents, Wayne (Dorothy) Allore.
A Memorial Service will be held at CROSSVIEW COVENANT CHURCH, 2000 W Howard Drive, North Mankato, with Pastor Brad Jackson presiding, at 3 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026; doors open at 2 p.m. Immediately following the service at church, a celebration of Mitch’s life will take place at THE WOW! ZONE, 2030 Adams St, Mankato. Please show your love and support by wearing sports apparel from the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, Wild or any local Mankato team.
Mitch will be remembered not only by his kids, but also the kids he coached and the lives he touched through the many sports and hobbies he participated in over the years. In addition to his many friends, he will be remembered for the fundraisers he led and the foundations he supported. Above all, he will be remembered by his close family and many friends. We hope you will help us carry Mitch’s spirit forward by sharing his love for the #4, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, and living every day like you are walking into the championship game.
