Nathaniel Patrick Friederich

Mar 12, 1991 — Sep 5, 2026

Nathaniel Patrick Friederich was born on March 12th 1991 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on September 5th 2026 at the age of thirty five. Nate was a Son, Grandson, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Husband, Uncle, Godfather, Friend, Teammate, and Coach.

In his younger years the sport of wrestling was a great catalyst for Nate; the physical and mental challenges he willingly faced shaped him into a man with great determination and grit. Through wrestling Nate became a team captain, wrestling conference MVP, a three-time state wrestling entrant and a MN State Second Place Winner. He found himself a part of a wonderful community, and was even introduced to his wife, Jenny, at a high school wrestling match. Nate continued wrestling at Ridgewater College in Willmar MN as he pursued and completed certificates for Computer Support Technician and Networking Systems Support. His hard work prevailed as he earned two certificates in two years, along with becoming a two time National Tournament Entrant and Academic All-American for the National Junior College Athletic Association. After college he continued on with his love of wrestling through coaching at his high school Alma Mater.

Nate was a hard worker, a lover of the outdoors, an avid hunter and fisherman, a Pokemon card collector, a gamer, a die hard American and an accomplished whiskey drinker. He always had a kind word, a laugh, a cheeky smile, and a helping hand to share. He always showed up for his family and friends and will live on through the many lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 13th from 1 - 4pm at the Next Chapter Winery in New Prague, MN. There will be an official ceremony at 2:00pm.
