A lifelong resident of Madison Lake, Nicholas James Hansen passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was 23 years old.
Nicholas was born May 07, 1999 in Waseca, Minnesota. He was raised by Leah and Dan Hansen who had the honor of being his Grandparents and the privilege of raising him as his Mom and Dad and are forever grateful. Nicholas was a unique, loving and kind soul. He loved spending time with his Dad bear hunting, working on vehicles and especially fishing. He loved helping his Mom and would often come to her for advice and special talks. You could find him many days sitting on the lake in his little boat or fish house. He loved his family, friends, and his yellow lab Sammie. His contagious smile and spirit will be greatly missed.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, Dan and Leah Hansen; his siblings, Andrew Hansen, Andrea Lawrence, and Kate Rislow (Brian); cousin, Austen Hansen, and girlfriend Angel Tipsin.
